In 1991, a new distribution company, Nissan Motor (GB), Ltd, was established in the UK.
In 1992, Nissan Motor Manufacturing Corporation, USA began production of the Altima (Bluebird), and Nissan Motor Manufacturing (UK) Ltd. began producing the Nissan Micra (March), designed by renowned Japanese designer Mr. Tokuichiro Hosaka, which immediately won the European Car of 1993 award. March won the 1992-93 Japanese Car Award. and "New Car 1992-93." in Japan.
Design Center
In 1992, a special design center was opened in Munich (Germany), whose task is to ensure that future Nissan models correspond to European tastes and styles. Designers working at Nissan Design Europe can complete a project from concept sketches to full scale clay models, as well as all interior and exterior design, color design, spare parts and accessories design.
Am 1. Juni 1934 wurde der Name des Unternehmens in Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. geändert. Der Export der ersten Datsun-Autos nach Asien, Mittel- und Südamerika begann in einer Menge von 44 Autos.
