With the installation of pneumatic tires, the smoothness of the ride and the cross-country ability of cars have significantly improved, although the first tires were unreliable and not adapted for quick installation. In the future, the main inventions in the field of pneumatic tires were primarily associated with increasing their reliability and durability, as well as facilitating mounting and dismantling. It took many years of gradual improvement in the design of the pneumatic tire and the methods of its manufacture before it completely replaced the molded rubber tire. More and more reliable and durable materials began to be used, a cord appeared in tires - a particularly strong layer of elastic textile threads. In the first quarter of the last century, designs of quick-release wheel fastenings to hubs with several bolts began to be increasingly used. which made it possible to change tires along with the wheel within a few minutes. All these improvements have led to the widespread use of pneumatic tires in automobiles and the rapid development of the tire industry
